Steve comes to us from Texas where he graduated from Baylor with a Business degree and double majors in Marketing as well as Risk Management and Insurance. After college, he spent 12 years in the insurance industry, where his work ranged from investments and sales to working insurance claims. In addition, in 2011, Steve and his wife started a business that designs, imports, and wholesales children’s shoes. In 2014, Steve was recruited to work as a consultant in the franchising industry at The Dwyer Group, now called Neighborly. Neighborly is the world’s largest parent company of 22 home service brands and nearly 3,700 franchise owners in nine countries. As a consultant, Steve coached new and seasoned business owners in all aspects of their business ranging from contracts, budgets, KPI’s, Profit and Loss Statements, as well as marketing trends. All this, in an effort, to help business owners become successful entrepreneurs. Steve joined us in March of this year as our National Franchise Director.

Steve’s hobbies include, well, pretty much anything outdoors. He has a passion for construction and loves to build and create. He also enjoys farming and gardening. One of his most proud possessions is a table he made for his wife from a cedar tree he cut down and milled into lumber by hand. You will rarely find him indoors, outside of work. In his free time, Steve enjoys going to church, researching, reading and volunteering. He recently traveled to Peru on a mission trip, where he and his family participated in the physical construction of churches and schools, as well as providing medical services to the Peruvians. He has participated in prison ministry at a local penitentiary as well as helps in efforts to feed and provide aid to the needy. Steve is married to the love of his life and they have two beautiful children, a son and a daughter, of whom he is very proud.
