AWRCS(NAC/AW) JON P. SKRODER (USN RETIRED)
Senior Chief Petty Officer Skroder is a native of New Braunfels, TX. He joined the Delayed Entry Program (DEP) for the United States Navy his Junior year and graduated from New Braunfels High School in 1993. He received recruit training at RTC San Diego with follow on “A” School for the AZ rating in Meridian, MS.
His first assignment was NAWS China Lake, CA from December 1993 until December 1996. In December 1996, he was assigned to Pacific Missile Range Facility where he decided to pursue a rate change to AW via the SCORE program. In May of 1999, he began his aircrew training in Pensacola, FL. His training included Aircrew School, SAR School, and AW “A” School with follow-on SERE school in Kittery, ME.
In December 1999, he reported to HSL-40 to complete the FRAC training for the SH-60B. After completion, he reported to HSL-42 to start his new career as an AW. During this assignment, he completed two MED/MEF deployments aboard the USS San Jacinto (CG-56) and the USS Monterey (CG-61) respectively. He also attended advanced tactical training at NSAWC to become a Seahawk Weapons and Tactics Instructor (SWTI).
In December 2003, he reported to the Weapons and Tactics unit where he became a plank holder for the first Seahawk Weapons School. During this tour, he was selected, initiated, and pinned to Chief Petty Officer. In December 2006, he reported to HSL-48 as the Aircrew LCPO. During his time here, he also performed as Operations LCPO, Paraloft LCPO, and assisted detachments with ship integration during Week One Work-ups (WOWU).
In December of 2009, he returned to the Weapons School to assume the position of Senior Enlisted Advisor (SEA) and to perform as a Seahawk Weapons and Tactics Instructor (SWTI) to qualify squadron detachments for deployment. He also attended MH-60R CAT II FRAC training to become one of the first MH-60R qualified tactics instructors.
In May 2013, he reported to HSL-37 as the Aircrew LCPO. During this tour, he deployed on the USS Michael Murphy DDG-112 in support of the 7th Fleet operation, assisted in the squadron’s transition from HSL to HSM, and was selected to Senior Chief Petty Officer. In July 2017, he was assigned to HSM-40 Mayport, FL where he served as Training Department LCPO.
In Feb 2019, a member of the My Military Financial Family introduced him to the opportunity this company offers with the M5 loan and asked if he would like the opportunity for spreading the word to fellow active duty and veterans eligible.

IRAQ WAR VETERAN 06-07
Karl first entered active duty Navy in August 1987 where he was trained as an Operations Specialist. His first assignment landed him on a World War II icon, USS IOWA (BB-61) aka The Big Stick. There he travelled to the Mediterranean completing two full deployments supporting missions in Africa, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and Turkey.
Karl is a veteran of the Gulf War (90-91) where he completed his active service and returned home to join the US Naval Reserve.
In 1993, Karl volunteered for Active Reserve Duty (AD) as a Navy Hometown Veteran and Reserve Recruiter assigned to NMCRC Richmond, VA. Karl excelled at recruiting civilians into the Sea and Air Mariner Reserve-Select Program (SAM) and offered additional duties as the Prior-Service Recruiter supporting billets throughout Virginia, continuing his active service.
Karl again volunteered in 2006 in support of the Navy’s Individual Augmentee program (AA) and was assigned to Fort Bliss, Texas where he trained for 4 months in US Army combat infantry, ground support, convoy operations, and detainee operations. After successfully completing training with the Army, Karl was selected as Sr. Enlisted Line Officer for Detainee Operations duty in Camp Bucca, Iraq.
In Iraq, Karl led 32 personnel from both reserve and active units that processed and stood guard over 1000+ detained Iraqi civilians awaiting trial for suspected crimes against US Troops. Under his command no US personnel were lost in combat and zero detainees escaped. Camp Bucca survived 24 mortar and numerous sniper attacks from foreign combatants during his tour. For his time in Iraq, Karl received the Navy Commendation Medal.
Karl continued his career as a Navy Reserve Recruiting Manager and completed Full-Time-Support (FTS) service in 2009 when he retired from active duty.
After service, Karl completed his education and received a Bachelor’s degree Management and a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
Karl leveraged his experience recruiting for the Navy Reserve and Leadership learned from Iraq into corporate positions in Sales, Project Management, and Operations.
In his off time, Karl and his wife Tracey enjoy riding rails-to-trails-30mile biking trails to tackle along with hiking NC Mountains, kayaking, and exploring travelling the US.
Something unique about Karl. He also competed with the Pan American Dragon Boat Association as a member of the Jacksonville Chapter where his team won 5-gold medals for their age group for the 2017 season and raised money to support survivors of breast cancer.

Cindy’s goal is to assist My Military Financial Service’s clients through the SBA process. The SBA loan process can be overwhelming for the client and Cindy is very successful in providing the client with a comfort level to complete the process with ease. Cindy possesses an in depth of knowledge of the SBA process as she participates in SBA continued education certification on a yearly basis and requires her staff to do the same.
As well, Cindy oversees the Business Development of MMFS, thus she is continuously spearheading the development of marketing in an effort to not only “grow the company”, but to retain current client and vendor relationships.
As Vice President of SBA & Finance Division, Cindy works closely with the underwriting division and her main focus lies on maintaining customer relations with our extensive vendor portfolio.
BRIAN S. TRIPPETT AWRC (USN RETIRED)
RETIRED, UNITED STATES NAVY
AWRC Trippett retired on September 30, 2017 from the United States Navy after completing over 24 years of service.
Chief Trippett entered the United States Navy on September 13, 1993, during his 24 year career he earned qualifications as a Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, Naval Aircrewman, Aviation Rescue Swimmer, SH60B/R Tactical Sensor Operator, Small Arms Instructor, Weapons Range Safety Officer, Helicopter Aerial Door-gunner Instructor, Seahawk Weapons Tactics Instructor, Master Training Specialist, Command Financial Specialist, Casualty Assistance Calls Officer (CACO), and Command Fitness Leader. AWRC Trippett retired as a Chief Petty Officer.
Chief Trippett attended Bootcamp at Recruit Training Command Orlando and in 1994 was assigned to the USS Gettysburg (CG64), completing two deployments. Chief Trippett was then transferred to HSL-48 “Vipers” SH60B helicopter squadron from 95-97. Chief Trippett was approved for AW “A” School in August of 1997 and reported to NAS Pensacola. While at NAS Pensacola Chief Trippett completed Aircrew Candidate, Aviation Rescue Swimmer, and AW “A” Schools. In 1998 chief Trippett reported to HSL-40 “Air wolves” Fleet Replacement Squadron at NS Mayport, Jacksonville FL. After completion of the FRS he was assigned to HSL-42 from 99-03 deploying with Detachment Seven “Dirty Scoundrels” onboard USS Samuel B. Roberts and Detachment Four “Weed Whackers” onboard USS Yorktown. In 2003 Chief Trippett transferred back to HSL-40 to be an instructor. After completing his instructor tour in 2007 Chief Trippett transferred to HSL-48 and deployed with Detachment Four “Flying Tanukis” onboard USS San Jacinto. 2010 saw Chief Trippett assigned to the HSM Weapons School Atlantic where he made multiple deployments to AUTEC located on Andros Island in the Bahamas in support of undersea warfare operations. Chief Trippett’s next tour took him to HSM-70”Spartans” and his 10 month deployment onboard the nuclear aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush. Chief Trippett’s last two years before he retired where spent at HSM Wing Atlantic managing the SH60R flight simulators.
During Chief Trippett’s distinguished career he flew over 4,500 hours, Deployed 4yrs 10mths to the Persian Gulf, Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea, RedSea, Baltic Sea, Caribbean Sea, Pacific. During deployments he supported Operation Southern Watch, Northern Watch, BALTOPS 1994, Operation Noble Eagle, Katrina Hurricane Relief, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Inherent Resolve, Proud Manta, and Operation Odyssey Dawn. He worked with over 30 foreign nations military during various exercises and visited 52 countries and transited the Panama Canal and Suez Canal five times. Chief Trippett participated in the rescue of over 300 passengers of the Achille Lauro after the cruise ship caught fire of the coast of Somalia in 1994, he also participated in the rescue of 24 personnel durning Hurricane Katrina. He was instrumental in the training of the Senegalese Navy’s first rescue swimmers which led to their first ever SAR deployment from a helicopter during African Nation Building Operations
AWRC Trippett’s awards and decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal(2) , Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal(10), Navy Unit Commendation, Navy”E” Ribbon(6), Navy Good Conduct Medal(7), National Defense Service Medal (2), GWOT Expeditionary Medal(2), GWOT Medal, South West Asian Service Medal(2), Humanitarian Service Medal(2), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon(7), Navy Rifle Expert Medal, Navy Pistol Expert Medal. Sikorsky Rescue Award, HSL-40 Aircrewman of the year, HSL-48 Enlisted Leader of the Year, HSL Wing Atlantic Enlisted Leader of the Year.

A Twenty (20) year employee of DRDA CPAs & Business Consultants, Suzy Granger is the National Business Development Officer for the BORSA Plan. Working with entrepreneurs across the country, Suzy educates on the use of retirement funds, tax and penalty free, to buy, start, or recapitalize small businesses. She holds positions of leadership in NAGGL and other local Government Guaranteed Lender Associations. Suzy frequently presents this topic at SBA Lender Conferences, SBDC Workshops, and SCORE events across the country as known as the expert. An advocate for children, Ms. Granger has served on the Board of Texas Center for the Missing, Houston’s Amber Alert provider. She lives with her husband Tommy and their various rescue animals in League City, TX.

Aaron is originally from Schenectady New York where he attended the State University of New York (SUNY) Albany and received a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. While growing up Aaron always had a passion for restaurants. In 2007 he moved to Atlanta GA to follow his dream and open his first restaurant. In less than a year later, he opened a second. After 7 years he was made an offer on his venture that he could not refuse and sold. Aaron’s wife Tara was offered a promotion with her company that led them to Tampa FL. He then began his career in the franchising world with supporting existing franchises and gaining new ones for a local company.
After years of guiding new franchisees to First Financial for their lending needs, it was a natural transition to My Military Financial Services using his degree in Business Management.
In his free time he like likes to travel, ride his motorcycle and spend time with his wife and friends, and of course he is a great cook.

Steve comes to us from Texas where he graduated from Baylor with a Business degree and double majors in Marketing as well as Risk Management and Insurance. After college, he spent 12 years in the insurance industry, where his work ranged from investments and sales to working insurance claims. In addition, in 2011, Steve and his wife started a business that designs, imports, and wholesales children’s shoes. In 2014, Steve was recruited to work as a consultant in the franchising industry at The Dwyer Group, now called Neighborly. Neighborly is the world’s largest parent company of 22 home service brands and nearly 3,700 franchise owners in nine countries. As a consultant, Steve coached new and seasoned business owners in all aspects of their business ranging from contracts, budgets, KPI’s, Profit and Loss Statements, as well as marketing trends. All this, in an effort, to help business owners become successful entrepreneurs. Steve joined us in March of this year as our National Franchise Director.
Steve’s hobbies include, well, pretty much anything outdoors. He has a passion for construction and loves to build and create. He also enjoys farming and gardening. One of his most proud possessions is a table he made for his wife from a cedar tree he cut down and milled into lumber by hand. You will rarely find him indoors, outside of work. In his free time, Steve enjoys going to church, researching, reading and volunteering. He recently traveled to Peru on a mission trip, where he and his family participated in the physical construction of churches and schools, as well as providing medical services to the Peruvians. He has participated in prison ministry at a local penitentiary as well as helps in efforts to feed and provide aid to the needy. Steve is married to the love of his life and they have two beautiful children, a son and a daughter, of whom he is very proud.

Josephine is a native of Miami and Key Largo Florida prior to her family moving to Deland here they now own and operate a small restaurant and gift shop called Dick & Janes where Josie has spent much of her available time growing the family business.
A graduate of Florida State University in Tallahassee, Josie studied business and hospitality management. Josie has worked in hospitality and customer service since she was 15 years old and full-time during her studies at Florida State. She is experienced in customer service, marketing and social media.
Josie most recently moved to Tampa, to be closer to family, friends, & the ocean. Her hobbies include fitness, artwork, and spending time by the water.
